In 2000, my old system was starting to get tired. I had blown the old stereo to pieces. Since the speakers were built in, it's pretty hard to replace them. So I went looking for a new system. The Sony CFD-ZW755 caught my eye almost immediately. This, eventually, would become my second system from Sony. If you have read most of my reviews before, I like to play around with some of the more costly products too. I tried out one of the surround-sound Sony GameSync boomboxes first. It sounded great, but I really did not want to spend that much on a stereo. Then I went back over to my other choice, the CFD-ZW755. It had everything, minus the surround sound speakers, that the GameSync system had. Plus, it included a remote, four sound modes (Rock, Pop, Jazz, Vocal), and a bass equalizer.
Strength
The sound modes make any speaker sound great! It also comes with one of the best remotes you can get from Sony.
Weakness
The fabric on the front of the speakers tear very easily. The speakers aren't all that good because they sound very tinny. You might want to consider replacing them with BOSE.
